Lauscha is a remote village in the Thuringian Forest (Central Germany). Lauscha was founded in 1597 as a "Glass Hut" for glassblowing, and the village has continued to develop as a glass producer. The very first glass eyeball was produced in Lauscha in 1835.
It was around this time that the very first glass Christmas
decorations in the world were blown by glassblowers in Lauscha.
Just as when Lauscha was formed, Glass is still the reason for its existance today, and the quality of the products produced is second to none.
We are extremely proud of the relationships that we have, and continue to develop with the producers in Lauscha to bring the best to you.
